Love hexagons? In EQ8, you can design pieced hexagons using PolyDraw's Circle Grid on the Block Worktable. Create a hexagon "guide" first by drawing a plain hexagon (follow the 5 rings by 12 spokes grid). Then once you have the plain hexagon drawn, convert it to guides and draw your pieced hexagon within those guidelines. A quick way to design a circular quilt in EQ8 is to draw a quarter of the circle using the Circular PolyDraw Grid on the Block Worktable, then set it into a 2 x 2 layout on the Quilt Worktable.
